The Seed Crackers from Knäck & Bräck is a lovely thin seed cracker baked on organic rye and spelt. These seed crackers have then topped with sesame seeds, flaxseeds and a little flake salt—a perfect choice to serve with the cheese tray. When the seed cracker bakes on coarsely ground rye, you get a lot of healthy dietary fibre, which is essential for our bodies' wealth. The rye and dinkel flour also called spelt, make the bread healthier than if baked on conventional wheat flour. Dinkel (Spelt) has been cultivated for about 8000 years and has a higher content of essential amino acids than today's modern wheat. It also contains antioxidants that strengthen the body's immune system, as well as thiocyanate, which is an endogenous antibiotic. Spelt has a lower GI than regular wheat, which helps you keep your blood sugar levels at a more even level.
