Welcome to Knackebrodonline® and the website knackebrodonline.com. Both the brand and the website are owned by HF Gruppen AB, Hejde Forse 650, SE-623 75 Klintehamn, Sweden, organisation number 556949-0245, VAT number SE556949024501, (”HF Gruppen”, ”we”, ”us, ”our”). These general terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply when you as a customer (“you”, “customer”) place an order and complete a purchase via knackebrodonline.com and associated pages (“the website”). Agreements can be made by private individuals over the age of 18 who reside in the European Union. These terms are according to Swedish legislation and apply to the extent at which they do not deviate from local consumer protection laws.

Orders

Orders are placed via our website www.knackebrodonline.com. You can find information about how to order in our help guide How to place an order. In order to complete the purchase, you must accept these general terms and conditions as well as our privacy policy. The final agreement between you as the customer and HF Gruppen is made only once we have confirmed the order by sending you an order confirmation email via the email address provided by you.

HF Gruppen reserves the right to refuse to confirm orders that contain incorrect personal data if fraud is suspected as well as payment against invoice if the customer’s credit check is not approved. Read more under Payment.

Prices and product images

All prices are stated in Euro (EUR), including VAT. For most products, 12% VAT is applied (food products) but the website may also include products that have 25% VAT. You can always see the total amount of VAT at checkout before you complete the purchase. Shipping costs are added and displayed at checkout, depending on which shipping option you choose. We reserve the right to correct any errors in information relating to price, stock or products caused by printing errors or technical problems. If you have ordered an item with an obvious price error, we will contact you, and reserve the right to charge you the difference or allow you to cancel the purchase.

Product images on this website can sometimes differ slightly from reality and are not always an exact representation of the physical product. Colours, material and appearance can also vary due to image quality and display settings on different devices.

Payment

We use Klarna Checkout as a payment solution. By clicking “Complete Purchase”, you accept the Klarna Checkout terms as well as our terms. We accept card payments only.

Shipping and delivery

At checkout, you can choose between different shipping options. You can read more about the different shipping options, prices and delivery times here: Shipping and delivery terms

Usually, we process your order within 24 hours (weekdays, not including public holidays) so that the order can leave our warehouse, provided we have the item in stock. Once the item has left our warehouse, the responsibility for its delivery is transferred to the shipping company, which will deliver your order within the amount of time specified for the chosen shipping option, and in accordance with the details registered by the customer. Delivery time can vary depending on the distributor and the delivery address but is usually 2-8 working days.

Should a product sell out after you have completed your order, delivery time may be extended. Where applicable, you will receive a message about this with an estimated delivery time, and can then cancel the delivery free of charge if desired.

You are welcome to contact our customer service if you have any further questions regarding our shipping and delivery terms.

If you have placed multiple different orders with the same recipient and delivery address and they have not yet been sent off, we will in most cases merge the order and deliver them as one order. If you have paid for shipping twice, one of the shipping payments will be refunded. Should this be the case, we will send you a confirmation email.

Right of withdrawal and returns

As a customer, you always have 14 days right of withdrawal according to the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act. Please note that food products are exempt from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned. The withdrawal period starts from the day on which the consumer receives the order. In the case of partial delivery, the withdrawal period is valid from the day on which the last part of the order has been delivered. If the final day of the withdrawal period falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the withdrawal period is extended to include the following weekday. If you regret your purchase, please contact us to inform us of this. After contacting us, you must return the product to us within 14 days. Refunds can be withheld until we have received proof that the return has taken place or we have the returned goods in our possession.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal and receive a full refund, the product must be unused and undamaged. If the product is not in an unaltered condition, we may reduce the refund equivalent to the decrease in value of the product.

You as the customer are responsible for any return shipping costs. Please contact our customer service if you have any further questions regarding the right of withdrawal and returns, or wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. You can notify us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal via telephone and email. If desired, you can use the Swedish Consumer Agency standard form for regretted purchases and email it to us.

Refunds

We will refund the entire purchase amount at the latest within 14 days of you notifying us that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, provided we have received the returned item(s). If we have not received the returned item(s) within these 14 days, we may wait to refund the purchase amount until we have received proof that the goods have been sent back to us.

If you have returned an entire order (all products), the standard shipping cost will also be refunded. If you chose a shipping option other than the cheapest standard option we offered, the difference will not be refunded.

Refunds will be given using the same payment method used to make the purchase.

Uncollected parcels

We reserve the right to charge you for any costs we incur from handling uncollected parcels. For this, we charge an administration fee of 25 EUR incl. VAT if a package is not collected. We ship through DHL and UPS. For DHL shipments, the shipment will remain with the local representative for 14 days before it is returned to us. For UPS shipments, 3 delivery attempts will made. If you fail to retrieve your parcel on any of these attempts, it will be returned to us. Therefore, please note that if you regret a purchase and wish to return the item, you first have to collect the package and then obtain an approval of your return request, as described above.

Complaints and dispute resolution

As a consumer, you have the right to complain in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act. For products that do not have a limited shelf life (as food products do), 36 months’ right to complain applies. Complaints must be lodged within a reasonable amount of time after the defect is discovered, and depending on when we receive the complaint, the responsibility may lie with the customer to be able to prove that the defect is an original defect. Two months is usually considered a reasonable amount of time after the defect is discovered, and if it is discovered after six months from the date of delivery, the customer has the burden of proof.

If you have received a defective or wrongly delivered item, please contact our customer service immediately in order to complain about the item so that we can find a suitable solution. Upon contact with customer service, you will receive instructions regarding a possible return. In the case of a return, we will pay the return shipping costs. If you believe that a product you have bought from us is defective but we do not agree with you, we have a dispute. In order to have this dispute tried, you can contact the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), Box 174, SE-101 23 Stockholm, Sweden, www.arn.se. We participate in the conflict solution and follow ARN’s recommendations. You can also take your complaint further at the EU’s common online dispute resolution website, which you can find here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
