The knäckebröd recipes originate from the old baker's cottages in Härjedalen, where these thin crispbreads have been baked with centuries of craftsmanship. Of course, Härjedalsbröd has nurtured these traditions while renewing the craft with several new flavours. However, you do not compromise on the quality of the knäckebröd you bake, all knäckebröd is baked on organic artisanal flour from Limabacka Mill. A healthy knäckebröd starts with good and hearty ingredients, which is what gives these knäckebröds their unique character and taste.
