Hällbröd is a thin, hard, organic bread with a hundred-year-old history in Härjedalen. Hällbröd is mainly baked on whole grain rye, which has the best conditions for growing in our northern latitudes in Sweden. A perfect Hällbröd requires craftsmanship. Hällbröd is baked in red-hot ovens, which are too hot to bake regular bread but perfect for baking the hard Hällbröd.
