Vika Bröd is a classic Swedish knäckebröd. Vika Bröd Emmer och Enkorn is the latest addition to the Vika family, a crispbread developed with Warbro Kvarn, a mill in Sköldinge, Sörmland. Vika Bröd Emmer and Enkorn are baked from Swedish wholegrain rye supplemented with the cultural cereals Emmer and Enkorn. Münchner malt has also been added, which creates additional depth and a round taste.
Cultural cereals, i.e. old original cereal varieties, generally have higher nutritional values and taste than modern cereals and are well suited for organic farming. The protein and mineral content is higher, as well as the content of antioxidants.
